Living in Barcelona: things worth knowing before you hire a cleaner
The water is very hard
Barcelona tap water leaves limescale on taps, shower screens and glasses within days. A weekly clean keeps it under control; if it has built up for months, it's a job for a deep clean.
Old floors need care
Many flats in the Eixample and Gràcia still have original hydraulic tiles (mosaico hidráulico). Bleach and acid cleaners dull them, so we use neutral products on them.
Recycling has five colours
Yellow for packaging, blue for paper and cardboard, green for glass, brown for organic waste and grey for everything else. We leave your bins sorted the way the city asks.
Keys and building access
Plenty of our clients are at work or travelling when we clean. You can leave keys with a neighbour, in a lockbox or with us, and we agree how to hand them back.
Balconies and galleries
Street dust gets everywhere in the city centre. Balconies, galleries and window tracks fill up quickly, so we include them when the visit allows.
Your deposit when you leave

How much does a cleaner cost in Barcelona?
Our regular house cleaning is €19 per hour, with a minimum of 3 hours per visit. One-off jobs such as end of tenancy or deep cleaning have a fixed price that we give you after seeing a few photos.
Do you speak English?
Yes. You can call us or write on WhatsApp in English, and we'll handle the whole booking in English.
Do I need to provide cleaning products?
No. We bring our own good-quality, non-abrasive products and professional equipment.
Do I need to be at home?
No. Many clients leave us the keys. When you're not there, we send you photos of the result when we finish.
How quickly can you come?
Usually within a few days, and often sooner for urgent jobs. We also work weekends and public holidays.
Which areas do you cover?
